Any advice for someone getting their first tattoo?
The biggest advice we can give is don't be nervous. Your artist is here to walk you through every step of the process and is there to answer any questions you may have. Also, eat before your appointment and have fun.
How much does a tattoo cost?
Our shop minimum is $150. We price either by the piece or hourly. Our hourly rate is $150+ depending on the artist. The price of a tattoo is often dependent on the design/size/placement of the tattoo. All pricing is done in the shop. Feel free to give us a call or email to schedule a consultation!
How do I book an appointment?
To book an appointment you must fill out a consultation form. Click the "book now" at the top of the page and it will bring you to the online form. Once all of the necessary fields are filled out someone will reach out to get your tattoo scheduled. Booking tattoos is primarily done through email so please be on the lookout for communication from us via contact@goodomentattoos.com after you fill out a form.
What is your Deposit Policy?
We require a deposit to book any tattoo appointments. This is standard across the tattoo industry. If your tattoo is multiple sessions, a deposit is required for each session. Deposits are $100 and go towards the final cost of your tattoo. They secure your appointment and are non-refundable, non-transferable, and will be applied to your last appointment. If you fail to cancel your appointment for any reason at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment the deposit will be forfeited to the artists. If you need to reschedule, we require a 48 hr notice for the deposit to roll with the appointment. If you need to reschedule and need time to double-check your calendar, we only hold onto your deposit for 60 days. Failure to reschedule your appointment within 60 days of the initial appointment results in forfeiture of the deposit. There is a lot of time and effort that goes into the designs, preparations, consultations, and booking of appointments. So if you do not show up or do a last-minute cancellation, that is an appointment lost for the artists, when they could have scheduled someone else. If you have any questions about our deposit policy, please give the shop a call and someone can go over it with you.

Clients with Cancer/Disabilities/Bloodborne Illness
Protecting all our client's health is our number one responsibility! Our first step is educating our clients on how a tattoo can affect their body. Receiving a tattoo is a serious procedure done to the body. A tattoo is an open wound and just like with any open wound the body is prone to infection. These infections can lead to death. Clients with Cancer/Disabilities/Blood Borne Illness have a greater risk of infections due to lower immune systems. It is important to make sure you are healthy enough to receive a tattoo and that your body can also heal a tattoo. We highly encourage our clients to consult their physician to see if their body can receive and heal a tattoo. If you are unsure, please consult your physician. We also may require a doctor’s note before proceeding.
Do you offer piercings?
No, we do not offer piercings or sell jewelry.
